The purpose of this committee opinion, which replaces the 2006 ASRM Practice Committee document titled Multiple Pregnancy Associated withInfertility Therapy, is to provide physicians with pertinent information that may help to avoid multiple gestations and to aid in patient counseling regarding the associated risks.
